ALOHA

Palani's is excited to be the first in Wesley Chapel to bring you authentic, fresh saimin from the islands! It's like da kine from small kid time!

OHANA

Become a part of our ohana by enjoying some noodles, our plate lunches, our shave ice or just pop in to listen to Palani on his ukulele.

MAHALO

Palani's want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in us and experiencing our true spirit of ALOHA!

Barbara has her arm around Palani, who is wearing sunglasses and holding a ukulele Barbara and Palani enjoying a nice summer day!

A little about Palani's Hawai'i Noodles and why we are taking this path...

Aloha!

Our story begins with Franco, "Palani” who was born on the island of Kauai and raised on Oahu in Kalihi Valley. Along with his wife, Barbara, and two sons, Gabriel Kalani and Ryan Makoa, we welcome you to Palani’s Hawai'i Noodles House of Saimin!

Franco grew up eating Saimin from "small time.” Like many folks that grew up in Hawai'i, he ate Saimin, Spam, and BBQ sticks long before even seeing his first box of oatmeal or cereal. The savory aromas of Spam and cabbage, pansit, pork adobo and Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice would welcome him at lunch and dinners. Saimin has brought back so many fond memories of home. His mom and dad would load up the kids in their two-toned station wagon and head down to Kalihi Valley to a local Saimin Shop across the street from his alumni, Farrington High School. You could smell the saimin broth and teriyaki BBQ sticks from the parking lot long before getting into the restaurant! He fondly recalls going "holo holo" around Waikiki to check out the tourist night life before returning home and playing music with friends and family.

MAHALO!

"I was lucky enough to be part of Palani's Hawai'i Noodles taste test group. I participated three separate times and the deliciousness and freshness was consistent. I could have the broth alone it's so good. The fish that looks like radish is my favorite. And dessert shave ice with your own spike, say what!!!!!
Krates please, please hurry and open so I can enjoy Palani's every Wednesday when I am on this side of town."

"What can I say about the food at Palani's? Exquisite. Tasteful. Humble. I had the opportunity to meet the owners and taste some of the delicious food and OMG! Heaven. I highly recommend this restaurant for a taste of Hawai'i. It is amazing. On top of having great food, the owners and service they provide is very warm and they treat you like their own family. Please go check out this restaurant. You won't regret it and you'll definitely go back. :)"

Delicious! The noodles are a firmer texture than regular ramen, and the broth is seafood based. It’s very filling! I’ll definitely be back! Oh, and shave ice! It’s the perfect summer treat!
